Disneyland
Garden Grove is conveniently located less than 1 mile away from Disneyland - a theme park, owned an operated by The Walt Disney Company. The park has been visited by more than 515 million guests since it opened, July 17, 1955. Disney characters, greet visitors, interact with children, and pose for photos can be found wandering the park, or in specific areas where they are schedualed to appear. Disneyland also features rides and attractions designed to appeal to all ages.
The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival
Each Memorial Day weekend, the city of Garden Grove participate in the annual 'Garden Grove Strawberry Festival'. The Strawberry Festival has raised over $4.2 million for local organizations, including the Police and Fire Departments, Boys and Girls Club, Acacia Day Care Center for the frail elderly, The Assistance League and many others. The Strawberry Festival features a parade, carnival, crafts fair and food.
There are many sports clubs in Garden Grove including martial arts, baseball, hockey, yoga, and many more!
